Service of Appliances:
Once we have installed you new wood, gas or pellet appliance, we can also provide you with annual service of that appliance. Not just chimney sweeping, but troubleshooting and repairs.
We can also provide service on appliances that you or someone else installed.
If you have bought a home and it came with an appliance we can inspect it, help you obtain a manual, and teach you how to use it correctly for maximum enjoyment and heat.
Pellet Appliances Require More Service Than Wood or Gas
All pellet appliances require a minimum of annual servicing, per manufacturer's instructions. Many require professional servicing every 2-3 tons of fuel (in addition to the weekly owner service) , check your owners manual for details.
All pellet appliances must be cleaned at the end of the burning season. The humidity in the air during the summer months is absorbed by pellets inside the unit causing them to break down and expand which can jam the fuel feed system.
